MHT Joins the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Network

[MANCHESTER, NH] – August 13, 2026 – Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) is proud to announce its membership to the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower network.

The Sunflower symbol empowers individuals with non-apparent disabilities, conditions, or chronic illnesses by giving them a discreet way to let others know that they may need a little extra help, patience, space, or time. There’s nothing to explain—just wear your Sunflower, and the MHT team will be ready to offer support.

“We want to create a welcoming and stress-free travel experience for everyone,” said Aviation Director Tom Malafronte, A.A.E. “This new program will ensure that all MHT employees and customer-facing partners provide a supportive and understanding environment for anyone with a non-visible disability.”
