MHT Credit Rating Affirmed with Stable Outlook
Manchester-Boston Regional Airport recently completed its annual rating agency review and is pleased to announce that both Moody’s Investors Service and Standard and Poor’s Ratings Services have affirmed the airport’s credit rating with a stable outlook. Among the key points noted in the agencies findings were:
- Management’s actions to adjust midyear for actual revenue by cutting expenses
- Strong liquidity and cash on hand
- A manageable $49 million five-year capital improvement program (CIP) with no additional debt planned
- Stable service area which includes part of the northern Boston metropolitan area
Airport Director Mark Brewer added, “The aviation industry has certainly had its share of challenges in recent years so I am pleased to see that both Moody’s and Standard and Poor’s have recognized the hard work we have done. I am also proud of the airport staff for their efforts in reducing operating costs while maintaining the highest level of safety, security and service to our customers.”
