Delta Air Lines Announces Additional Jet Service to New York

Delta Air Lines, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport’s third largest air carrier, has announced that they will increase daily jet service to New York.  Beginning March 4, 2013, Delta will increase service between Manchester and its hub in New York – LaGuardia from three to four roundtrip flights each day.  The flights are scheduled to depart Manchester at 6:00 a.m., 10:53 a.m., 2:15 p.m., and 6:06 p.m., with return flights scheduled for 8:55 a.m., 12:29 p.m., 4:15 p.m., and 10:25 p.m.

Delta Air Lines began offering one daily flight to New York in March of this year and quickly grew to three daily departures by mid-July.  Airport Director Mark Brewer commented, “We recently met with Delta’s Network Planning Department at their corporate headquarters in Atlanta and discussed a number of potential opportunities to expand service in Manchester.  We are very excited to report that our ongoing discussions have lead to another major investment in their New Hampshire market.  The addition of a fourth daily flight to New York, served by jet aircraft with a first class product, will increase travel options and improve access into New York and the Delta system.

We are extremely pleased that Delta Air Lines continues to grow market share in Manchester and will continue to work with them to further develop the New York market and enhance service to Atlanta and Detroit.”
