American Airlines Adds New Service To Chicago O’Hare International Airport

Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) is pleased to announce new non-stop service to Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) on American Airlines. Daily service between Manchester and American’s Chicago hub will begin June 6, 2019. Seats will be available for sale beginning Monday December 17, 2018 through the American Airlines website www.aa.com.

American Airlines service to Chicago O’Hare will initially be offered twice daily on two-class CRJ-700 aircraft which consists of nine first class seats and 56 business/economy seats. Flights will depart Manchester at 7:20 am and 3:56 pm and return from Chicago at 12:01 pm and 6:46 pm.

Mayor Joyce Craig commented, “This exciting announcement comes at a time when Manchester businesses are expanding and our local economy is thriving. American’s Chicago announcement is a win-win for residents and businesses throughout New England seeking access to Chicago and points west. I applaud Manchester-Boston Regional Airport’s initiative to reach out to the community to identify needs and promote opportunities available at MHT. As residents and businesses book travel, I urge them to choose to fly out of MHT.”

Airport Director Ted Kitchens, A.A.E. remarked, “This is an exciting opportunity for both business and leisure travelers to connect to one of American’s key hubs. The American brand will enhance our connectivity to the local Chicago market and will improve access to some of our top markets which are located in the west and southwest. We are both excited and appreciative of American’s commitment to the Greater Manchester market and look forward to working with American and the local community to ensure its success.”
