New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlet Opens

Air travelers in New Hampshire can now purchase popular wines and spirits at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. The New Hampshire Liquor Commission (NHLC) has opened their latest New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlet within the airport’s secure passenger area near Gate 8. At 625 square feet, the store is similar to duty-free stores found at airports around the world providing customers a chance to purchase a variety of premium spirits, champagnes and wines. New Hampshire-made brands are also featured on a centerpiece display.

Delta Air Lines Announces New Jet Service to New York City

Delta Air Lines, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport’s third largest air carrier, has announced new jet service to LaGuardia, New York. Beginning March 25, 2012, Delta will offer two daily departures from Manchester utilizing 50-seat Embraer 145 regional jets. This new service offers excellent jet air service to support a day’s business in New York City or connect to Delta’s other domestic or international flights.

The flights are scheduled to depart Manchester at 6:00 a.m. and 4:50 p.m. with return flights from LaGuardia scheduled at 3:00 p.m. and 9:55 p.m.

MHT Launches Inaugural Wings for Autism Program

On Saturday, October 27, 2012, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, in partnership with The Charles River Center, Southwest Airlines and the Transportation Security Administration, will offer its first Wings for Autism event.  The program will afford families with children on the autism spectrum, an opportunity to experience the process of preparing for a flight e.g., entering the airport, receiving a boarding pass, going through the security checkpoint and boarding an airplane.

MHT Wings for Autism Video

Manchester-Boston Regional Airport’s “Wings for Autism” Day was held on Saturday, October 27, 2012.  The event was made possible through a partnership involving the airport, Charles River Center, Southwest Airlines and TSA.  Families from across the region arrived to take part in a “practice run” to allow their children to experience all of the sights, sounds and complexities of the air travel system.  By all accounts, the event was a great success.  We hope that you enjoy some of the moments captured in the Wings for Autism video and we look forward to hosting our next event.

Southwest Airlines Non-stop Las Vegas Fights Resume June 2, 2013

Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is pleased to announce that daily non-stop service between Manchester, NH and Las Vegas, NV will resume June 2, 2013.  The flight will return on a “seasonal” basis and is now available through at least the end of the Southwest summer schedule - which currently runs through August 9, 2013.  The non-stop flight is scheduled to depart Manchester at 2:35 p.m. and arrive in Las Vegas at 5:05 p.m.  The return flight (also non-stop), will depart Las Vegas at 9:40 a.m. and arrive in Manchester at 5:35 p.m.

Delta Air Lines Announces Additional Jet Service to New York

Delta Air Lines, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport’s third largest air carrier, has announced that they will increase daily jet service to New York.  Beginning March 4, 2013, Delta will increase service between Manchester and its hub in New York - LaGuardia from three to four roundtrip flights each day.  The flights are scheduled to depart Manchester at 6:00 a.m., 10:53 a.m., 2:15 p.m., and 6:06 p.m., with return flights scheduled for 8:55 a.m., 12:29 p.m., 4:15 p.m., and 10:25 p.m.

US Airways Announces Additional Jet Service To Washington- National and Charlotte, North Carolina

US Airways, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport’s second largest air carrier, has announced that it will increase daily jet service to hubs in Washington D.C. and Charlotte North Carolina.  Beginning April 9, 2013, US Airways will increase service between Manchester and Washington-National from three to four daily roundtrip flights.  The flights are scheduled to depart Manchester at 6:00 a.m., 7:55 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., with return flights scheduled for 10:00 a.m., 2:51 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 10:05 p.m.

Great news!  Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) is welcoming three new flights this spring.  These new flights are not just the usual “seasonal adjustments for the summer” (those flights are coming too), these are three actual NEW flights.  In March, Delta added a fourth daily roundtrip flight to New York-LaGuardia, and in April US Airways will add a fourth daily roundtrip flight to Washington National and a second daily roundtrip flight to their largest hub in Charlotte, NC.

Manchester-Boston Regional Airport Aces Annual FAA Inspection

Each year, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport and other commercial service airports nationwide must undergo an intense certification and compliance inspection by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).  This year, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport passed the FAA’s Part 139 Certification Inspection with flying colors.
